I don't know about the rest of you guys, but for the Harvey's this year just flew by!! Tuesday was awards day for Olney Junior High, and I must say that there are quite a few very talented kids in our schools, but I'm really only going to brag on one. :0)
Cody received 6 awards so I thought he ought to show them off. I know you can't read them from the way they are stacked, so I'll just list them for you, 'cause I know you're dying to know what they were!! :-)
Here goes:
1)Participation in Band
2)Perfect Attendance ( you usually have that when you're a teacher's kid
because it's too hard to find a sub!)
3 & 4) All-Star Cast/One Act Play
5)UIL Listening Skills (huh? yeah I know...)
6) B Honor Roll
His name was also drawn for a special prize for those who had perfect attendance. He won a $50
gift card to Hastings, but said I can't use it to buy any Barry Manilow CD's. Thought that was kinda rude myself, but oh well....
(I'm not really this much shorter than him, I'm just sitting in the chair so I could get a better shot of the awards and his very handsome face.)
Cody, we are so very proud of you!!!!!!! You are growing into such a wonderful and strong Christian young man, and your dad and I can't wait to see what terrific things the future has in store for you!!
