So, to make up for the last few months, be ready for a FEW pictures and a FEW stories so I can get you caught up on what's been going on in our lives since March...the last time I posted.<br /><br />Let's see...think I'll start with April and our first trip to a Rangers game this season. WOW!! We were given great tickets and had seats 4 rows up from home plate. Not too many seats that are better than those! Here are a few of our pictures:<br /><br /></span><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9V96U7JQgIXbfCTuJwqcMVqY69G3gbQQeRUzMurXgtshCYesMVEZNRaCZ5Wh30a0_5CgfRb_0KgaPHfv1aGUIjeYAbGEWR4rQ2aUoJuhic37he-UXNQQG6faGcsm4x0S2ITPyF6h9rjA/s1600/100_3356.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: right; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5616307810898359714" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9V96U7JQgIXbfCTuJwqcMVqY69G3gbQQeRUzMurXgtshCYesMVEZNRaCZ5Wh30a0_5CgfRb_0KgaPHfv1aGUIjeYAbGEWR4rQ2aUoJuhic37he-UXNQQG6faGcsm4x0S2ITPyF6h9rjA/s200/100_3356.JPG" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"> Cody and Bailey got an autograph from Matt Harrison.<br /><br /><br /><br /></span><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnABeRyM_-1BlMxT1dL0_sJqY4zJIGDPxS0I5txqQ90b6OldbBlJ98QxosmHxOVp84XEYL8l56Et6mwFp7yL7yH7thHep8QPYjyzCTML6LGYfU3pCZElpmU6huOhm7ryDkA7-LpGgQ1N0/s1600/100_3376.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5616310530579268770" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnABeRyM_-1BlMxT1dL0_sJqY4zJIGDPxS0I5txqQ90b6OldbBlJ98QxosmHxOVp84XEYL8l56Et6mwFp7yL7yH7thHep8QPYjyzCTML6LGYfU3pCZElpmU6huOhm7ryDkA7-LpGgQ1N0/s200/100_3376.JPG" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"></span><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoNGyIF9wx3iHhk35y3Xlbl6c6098cUMrchWKE3Drn7GQbpANXmEomMZqeuzoNm9_H2chNhhDPByGRvNWYmiIecAO5oQm4gHjw9ffkSNG8IYfXg5eFFjtDmoSvqRMGHJIbmxLh528CsnE/s1600/100_3335.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5616613613587313426" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjoNGyIF9wx3iHhk35y3Xlbl6c6098cUMrchWKE3Drn7GQbpANXmEomMZqeuzoNm9_H2chNhhDPByGRvNWYmiIecAO5oQm4gHjw9ffkSNG8IYfXg5eFFjtDmoSvqRMGHJIbmxLh528CsnE/s200/100_3335.JPG" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /><br /><br />Cody, Jeffrey, and Justin enjoying some time on the swing.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></span><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWoxuozBoeONPsF127vB9TNOihp2Vd6Qq98c92_luZuqh6tRCDfhM3OMwSDrXWq7oh-BxZodUv82JBmpA2aA0JSgPtMAMi5OpPXf9Xv9oIDakGFmDFBS48yKng8RvhljBveN_lck1IDIk/s1600/100_3330.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5616311290296876786" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWoxuozBoeONPsF127vB9TNOihp2Vd6Qq98c92_luZuqh6tRCDfhM3OMwSDrXWq7oh-BxZodUv82JBmpA2aA0JSgPtMAMi5OpPXf9Xv9oIDakGFmDFBS48yKng8RvhljBveN_lck1IDIk/s200/100_3330.JPG" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /><br /><br />What a crew! Some of the best looking kids I've ever seen!!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />For Mother's Day my wonderful guys got us tickets to another Rangers game. Jeff, Cody, and I went to Arlington that Saturday afternoon. I got to go shopping while they waited on me, and nobody told me to hurry or "come on, Mom." It was really wonderful! We had mexican food (my favorite) for supper, stayed in a great hotel, and headed off to the game on Sunday morning. Once again we had terrific seat, we got red sparkley Rangers visors, and it was photo op day, so we got to go onto the field and have our pictures made with the players. Now, let me just tell you that I was SOOOOOO excited about this!! I was feeling like quite the princess!! Here are a few pictures of our fantastic day:<br /><br /></span><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEDJ_MeuoQU18qiqwd5DIvtc9UNiXyyZ_StPuURHCZP_0EbV9RoSKuVdU-8p6P_a5oqKQsYujgY1fDqCguUsFWt_3BAjQsgPXbUUdmfCelfqn16NEHK7jKReWvNw0JSbo4h-jB9J4Zp3E/s1600/100_3388.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5616312539405189746" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEDJ_MeuoQU18qiqwd5DIvtc9UNiXyyZ_StPuURHCZP_0EbV9RoSKuVdU-8p6P_a5oqKQsYujgY1fDqCguUsFWt_3BAjQsgPXbUUdmfCelfqn16NEHK7jKReWvNw0JSbo4h-jB9J4Zp3E/s200/100_3388.JPG" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /><br />Jeff and Cody outside the Home Plate gate.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></span><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg252IiWMMsMwOn8nXzR_NJWf7J0VnH-LFKhy-6BEnapBJZzkuQKpT0Bxb0acURdwJI12VTeoTAFFzbGGhxS160LaIXgW1JEIuycyVI5g0i_1zTOnkBxfLiLvB8PNS8Rtai8F4grwQBDyg/s1600/100_3433.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5616616510477585986" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg252IiWMMsMwOn8nXzR_NJWf7J0VnH-LFKhy-6BEnapBJZzkuQKpT0Bxb0acURdwJI12VTeoTAFFzbGGhxS160LaIXgW1JEIuycyVI5g0i_1zTOnkBxfLiLvB8PNS8Rtai8F4grwQBDyg/s200/100_3433.JPG" /></a><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />It was REALLY warm that day, and Cody decided this was a good look for him, while at the same time being cool. I don't have a picture though because I couldn't find anyone to cover my class for the awards ceremony. That's ok though...he had a big smile on his face when he came into my room after school to show off his awards. Way to go Cody!! You have added to the craziness of our lives and bring a smile to our faces daily. We love your enthusiasm for life and your excitement about all the things you do each and every day. He started out at a very young age learning to show pigs, and this year he wound up showing 3 of them. There names were Chester, Maniac, and Twinkles. Now Cody and his dad spent MANY hours working with these pigs, and Cody loved every minute of it (Mom got in there and helped scoop poop and feed a few times too.) Now, on a cold day in January those 3 pigs, Cody, Dad, and Mom made the trip to Graham to the county show...</div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><div>Thought I'd better get this posted! Cody did FANTASTIC at the Young County Stockshow this year. He did take his 3 pigs and they all did really well! Twinkles wound up winning 1st in her class of hampshires. Maniac won 2nd in his class of crosses. Chester won 3rd in his class of OPB's. So, all in all I'd have to say Cody had a very good showing this year. He got to put two of them into the sale on Saturday, which was a nice treat for him, and us. Mom and Dad got to come and join us for the show, even though Mom was sick. She said she still wouldn't have missed it for the world! Cody is so lucky to have such very special grandparents who love him so much that they come and sit in a stinky old drafty barn to watch him show 3 pigs!! Jami and the boys were going to join us this year, but Jaden ended up having a basketball game though. Jaxon did make Cody 2 lego pigs though, and that was probably just the good luck we needed! Here are a few pictures of Cody and his pigs:</div><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtb6wc5LJZQJ6IL-miIJmharUwgM2HLn8r-GQkZFmW9WyLv5bvYIZYkHVa3ttgF_mOgsvxXemnrYd2rvXfVHqlzT9ngcGgvkjEgcV2PcRAspn1UrGN66DPggSUIWCysQ3VSc_wEl9xVcM/s1600/IMG_4450.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570046898602814482" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtb6wc5LJZQJ6IL-miIJmharUwgM2HLn8r-GQkZFmW9WyLv5bvYIZYkHVa3ttgF_mOgsvxXemnrYd2rvXfVHqlzT9ngcGgvkjEgcV2PcRAspn1UrGN66DPggSUIWCysQ3VSc_wEl9xVcM/s200/IMG_4450.JPG" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq5ChaBWmC3zicF3wrHLIHim41bjLUNzv2Jafws-teJc8_qa-maOIpbUHbui6S3XRWQHAiYcqk0_-dOhZRtz30whu-rtAzyL2jp62eNbpe65ycrXpXsSaZXqfMNZq_hl3jTS8fHO4FcjU/s1600/IMG_4456.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5570047404253831586" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgq5ChaBWmC3zicF3wrHLIHim41bjLUNzv2Jafws-teJc8_qa-maOIpbUHbui6S3XRWQHAiYcqk0_-dOhZRtz30whu-rtAzyL2jp62eNbpe65ycrXpXsSaZXqfMNZq_hl3jTS8fHO4FcjU/s200/IMG_4456.JPG" /></a>This is Chester (he won 3rd.) Thanks to my wonderful husband for the many, MANY early mornings he went out to feed before school started and all the time he spent out there with Cody and these animals. We are truely blessed! <br />
<br /><div><div>Whew! Like I said earlier...What a holiday season!! I am so thankful for my terrific family and all of our wonderful friends! They are what makes this time of year so very special to us.</div><div></div><div>I don't know about the rest of you, but for our family this time of the year just flew by!! The past 2 months have been extremely busy, and probably like most of you, we were ready for a break!!</div><div>I know it's been a while, so just be ready because there are lots of pictures!!</div><div></div><div>The month of November was pretty much taken up between basketball, One-Act play, and Thanksgiving. Cody also got his 2 pigs that he'll be showing at the county stockshow in January. I don't have pictures of them, but their names are Twinkles and Maniac. There will be pictures, but probably not until the stockshow because I can never remember to take my camera out to the pens. Anyway, they seem to be pretty good pigs, so we're keeping our fingers crossed!!!
<br /></div><div></div><div>Cody had the lead role in the junior high one-act play this year. They performed "Once Upon A Clothesline". He played the part of Pinno, a clothespin who falls off the line to rescue the lady clothespin who has been kidnapped by the terrible spider! CUTE PLAY!! Here are some of the pictures from their play:

Cody did great on his finals, and we were just so excited to have a couple of weeks off from studying! Justin and the kids came to our house for Christmas this year. Angela didn't get to join them because she needed to stay in Lubbock and help take care of her mom, but we missed her. Of course we opened presents and then the best part was getting to play with everything.</div><div>

<br /><div>This is one of Cody's most special gifts he received. He got this from Nana and Pawpaw. It's a baseball t-shirt pendant with the #2 on it. That was Steven's # in baseball, and this has been something Cody has wanted for a while now. He wears it with much love and pride.</div>
<br /><div></div>
<br /><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>He also got a bike from Santa, plus many other gifts. Guess he was a pretty good kid this year. Jeff and I also must have been good because we got everything we asked for! I even got 2 pair of boots: a zebra striped pair of rubber boots and a pair of Justin ropers with pink tops!! Now I'm ready for just about anything!!
<br /></div><div>
<br />I'm not really that great at doing this, so that's why my blog looks a little crazy. Sorry for the craziness of the word placement, but I don't know how to fix that. Just be excited that it's updated!!! Hope eveyone had as wonderful of a holiday as we did!</div></div></div></div></div></div>

Where has the time gone! Seems like just yesterday Cody started playing his first year of football as an Olney Cub, and now we're into basketball! Yea, yea, I know I haven't blogged since then either.<br /><div><div><div><div><div></div><br /><div>Anyway, he found out Thursday morning that he made the "A" team, which is great! He hasn't played basketball in a couple of years, so Jeff and I were really anxious to see how he would do. He's got the height, but not quite the speed yet, or so we thought... VERY IMPRESSIVE! (and I'm not just saying that because I'm his mom. 8-) He played a majority of the 4 periods, and handled the ball really well. AND, he didn't foul out. Used 4 of his 5 fouls... :-) </div><div></div><div>(Please ignore the dates on the pictures. Forgot to take it off my camera. This really was last week and not 6 years ago...)</div><div></div></div></div></div></div><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN18ntK74NpL38asmtkMJMCV1ce6Nr9QcNU3hMhF-ZI2Y18EIrIEo5sIT2XFpaEz-pe4VZ9e_qGkqTj5sSCNVVzo0eb3wYZdTD1vZ9B094dfWsQ_XAS7zHMVX2Aiik3fvNJnMMfQ87DOo/s1600/100_3058.JPG"><img style="MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 208px; FLOAT: left; HEIGHT: 161px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5539626789958331378" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN18ntK74NpL38asmtkMJMCV1ce6Nr9QcNU3hMhF-ZI2Y18EIrIEo5sIT2XFpaEz-pe4VZ9e_qGkqTj5sSCNVVzo0eb3wYZdTD1vZ9B094dfWsQ_XAS7zHMVX2Aiik3fvNJnMMfQ87DOo/s200/100_3058.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br />Relaxing before the game and watching the "B" team play. No games back to the west where we played football though. SORRY! But well worth the drive to where ever you'd have to go to watch this very sweet boy play basketball!! GO CUBS!! GO #32!!Tamihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06460108066646847878noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5226330002618118019.post-2456969661405729642010-09-23T19:48:00.000-07:002010-09-29T20:40:26.100-07:00Our Olney Cub!!!Fall is here, and so is football season! I love this time of the year!! Cooler weather, for the most part, lots of yelling, popcorn, road trips, and watching my youngest son play football for the first time. WOW! I know that the season started 3 weeks ago, and I'm a little slow getting this blog up to date, but I plan on making up for my tardiness tonight. HOLD ON!!!<br /><br /><br />I do have to admit that I was nervous about the first game. I kept telling everyone that I would be the mom trying to video with my eyes shut -- but I'm not that mom after all! I do video all the games though, and even though it sounds strange, it's hard to watch the game while you're videoing. I know...weird. I miss a lot of the action, but OF COURSE we watch it again when we get home so I can catch up on the game at that time. :-) I do find on the videos that I yell and talk a lot though!! Imagine that...<br /><br /><br />Below are just a FEW of the pictures I've taken during Cody's first 3 games, not in any sort of order.<br /><br /><br />This shot is of the 7th grade's game tonight, Sept. 23, against Holliday. "A GAME THAT WILL LIVE ON IN HISTORY!" Our guys actually won their first game!!!!!!! They beat Holliday 22-6 and it was so great to see their little faces light up! To beat anyone is a feat, but to beat Holliday is just magical!! And Cody and I were so blessed tonight to have Dad drive up from Abilene to go with me to the game. Jeff had to go to Austin this week, so he missed the big win, but I have it on VIDEO!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirwvtvIX3mwBCJQnzY3ImcSLaccbjT7aHNdCF59faXjvl4T_W_4arzniB6w-KJ_LUqjW8hhLxA2zbgawFbUx34m2pWEjQm8UGQ63aLRC8carnXWl7TLLvfunXCHE0UGb7kZZ63XcJ38mc/s1600/IMG_3866.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5520316071101272962" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirwvtvIX3mwBCJQnzY3ImcSLaccbjT7aHNdCF59faXjvl4T_W_4arzniB6w-KJ_LUqjW8hhLxA2zbgawFbUx34m2pWEjQm8UGQ63aLRC8carnXWl7TLLvfunXCHE0UGb7kZZ63XcJ38mc/s200/IMG_3866.JPG" /></a>Cody is #52. He played left tackle on offense tonight. (He's on the far left of this picture on the end. You can see the 2 on his jersey.) Last week he got to follow in Justin's footsteps and played center for most of the game. A few snaps were a little high for our much shorter quarterback, but Cody did a great job!<br /><br /><div><div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgU5qRHDZne9hUU9DLZwSBNNsuJ6Vhxr6JMSK1HCpP9y4iMYniPhiZTewQYkFkPkmTnbUl5yHzW2guzhiQG1KIWmKPQJ102-RSERnNkBNTDUIphBIc4hHFb8qnaZUqSLBpiouQozPOxog0/s1600/100_2913.JPG"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 150px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5520313235585065138" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgU5qRHDZne9hUU9DLZwSBNNsuJ6Vhxr6JMSK1HCpP9y4iMYniPhiZTewQYkFkPkmTnbUl5yHzW2guzhiQG1KIWmKPQJ102-RSERnNkBNTDUIphBIc4hHFb8qnaZUqSLBpiouQozPOxog0/s200/100_2913.JPG" /></a> Had to have an after game picture with Mom. Usually people have this mental image of what they "think" they know about pigs, and I have to admit that I was one of them...long ago.<br /><br />When I married Jeff, Justin and Steven were already showing pigs, and I was there to watch, but can't say that I really got in there and got "down and dirty" with the pigs. That can no longer be said though! Since Cody started showing, and Jeff tends to be out of town more often during this time, someone has to go out and help with the pigs. Since there are only 3 of us at home now, that just leaves Cody and me! Yes, I've fed pigs, brushed pigs, weighed pigs, and cleaned the nasty wood shavings from their pens. Won't say it was enjoyable, but it had to be done! And I will say, that I have learned a lot about these cute little pets. They aren't near as stinky when they are as well taken care of as ours are. They also tend to get spoiled, just like children. :-)<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv4tJs67UZS1hGFFya6BhAlDRR_tx_ODuR676epPNoTklFbZTs4B8JYiZ0Og-IDi8ykAwOyaEbzn2KezUTWHAD3ZR-iVY5V6nZ3mOzBiIPDXTcLYJWc_7eWvrWFQhRRGgkfgVwmxilrxk/s1600/100_1687.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5514387188285160450" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjv4tJs67UZS1hGFFya6BhAlDRR_tx_ODuR676epPNoTklFbZTs4B8JYiZ0Og-IDi8ykAwOyaEbzn2KezUTWHAD3ZR-iVY5V6nZ3mOzBiIPDXTcLYJWc_7eWvrWFQhRRGgkfgVwmxilrxk/s200/100_1687.JPG" border="0" /></a> Cody and one of his pigs (can't remember the name of this one, but isn't he cute!! and clean!!)<br /><br />Tonight I spent over an hour listening to a guy from a feed supplier talk to the parents and kids about his feed product. (Jeff was at a fireman's meeting, so that left me again...) It was actually quite informational, and I must say that my husband was incredibly impressed with all of my "feed knowledge" when he returned home and I showed him all the notes I'd taken.<br /><br />So...I feel like I have opened up a whole new world for myself. One which includes my boys walking around in rubber boots ( gotta get me some of those!) carrying pig bats, walking around in pig poop, and watching that little Wilbur grow into an "Incredible Pig!"Tamihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06460108066646847878noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5226330002618118019.post-17875577453660514552010-08-29T19:16:00.000-07:002010-08-29T19:26:12.580-07:00Happy Birthday Wishes!!Just wanted to celebrate today! Fresh clean rooms, new supplies, and the smell of brand new crayons filled the room. Sixteen happy smiles and excited little faces walked through my door ready to begin a new school year. Of course, I think being able to play football this year MIGHT have a LITTLE something to do with the excitement. He's trying out for quarterback, left tackle, and some of those other positions that I know are out there, just not sure of what they are. You'd think after watching Justin and Steven play for so many years I'd have gotten that down by now, but no...still don't know what they are. Don't figure that will change a whole lot with Cody playing either. :-)</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Hope everyone had as great a day as we did, and has a great year to follow! We've been home from Colorado for a week today, I'm just a little slow at getting things blogged. Why change now?!<br /><br /><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div></div><div>We had a wonderful vacation in South Fork, Colorado at Fun Valley. This was our 14th visit to "Happy Valley" and was just as fun as the past 13 times! Justin, Angela, Sydney, and Jeffrey got to go with us this year. They loved it! Of course Justin has been many times, but Angela and Syd thought it was lots of fun. Jeffrey just loved being where everyone else was. Such a good baby! Mom and Dad got to go too, after a 2 year absence. We just had a great time! Have a "few"pictures share with you, just so you can see what a great time was had by all...<br /></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEionq7LczhP9qQnB52tKzuGj14l26zvFk3pIPb70-5uiX0r-Y6-H_HhGpO0TbqzMWxpZk4cbDkkC3sJE_V5hkHllnPGX0aFZfwY1unIkSJfpPYa6HZErpGACqvUcXMNE6PNrmv4TcEV0EA/s1600/100_2748.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497927914969883554" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEionq7LczhP9qQnB52tKzuGj14l26zvFk3pIPb70-5uiX0r-Y6-H_HhGpO0TbqzMWxpZk4cbDkkC3sJE_V5hkHllnPGX0aFZfwY1unIkSJfpPYa6HZErpGACqvUcXMNE6PNrmv4TcEV0EA/s200/100_2748.JPG" border="0" /></a> Cody and Sydney both caught 2 fish at the guaranteed fish pond, and we hadn't even been in the park 2 hours! That has got to be the coldest water I have ever put my body in!!! So we only thought it fitting for Jeffrey to experience it on his first trip. I mean, Cody was only 4 months old the first time his Aunt Rhonda introduced him to this frigid water. Jeffrey wasn't too sure about it at first, but then he didn't want to get out. Cody and Sydney had to be bribed to get them out. Justin automatically got the job of dragging Sydney and her little friend in it because the rest of us had already done that job for him when he was little. ;-)<br /><br /></div><div></div><div><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXu_PNoUrKt8-nYO9zMqq6NeAaDzy4T3zgwOqgUfrG7igUCRq2dTgReeqU5fo12FIBgekquaSOjO6PgxQCNo_oRRxbkVZ8Za7JYI42BQk20GojtY5d9hTcl0y9s1N2ljQ1Pn1mi3ls518/s1600/100_2760.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497930189930487186" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXu_PNoUrKt8-nYO9zMqq6NeAaDzy4T3zgwOqgUfrG7igUCRq2dTgReeqU5fo12FIBgekquaSOjO6PgxQCNo_oRRxbkVZ8Za7JYI42BQk20GojtY5d9hTcl0y9s1N2ljQ1Pn1mi3ls518/s200/100_2760.JPG" border="0" /></a></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497931548453053138" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwnvJWtZquAlKae3zQknvjPHlgGO83Rpy4atDm2id2bUO7ig2oMuyTVUQ3H2wpuAe8Y6U0vmfB2vUuIFxeQNQ-pqarX0nQngMqmRa38UR_FRi1Ahvij6RyXP9j2W3Lsf98kW1sdpk2lM4/s200/100_2767.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497930571983387074" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3yXgkGV3BgVqMjGUJieFXUIeqINf0w1jlzd1Xc1RRj03q3zfWBQLIHyL72Ak5YsH-A2mN42zOo9QuKuGo5n7BpoF5SLV-S0YoRPykqkvs7_aH7aQwnkEIfrWuG3JpriAp6SDcEpfTXvM/s200/100_2761.JPG" border="0" /><br /><div></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfcMFJ-ryUKRgmGTkqyvnuNFhQpLqXnLgHArB9txycQ5qoPzy1LMjymWu8EPNiw94k1lG4BniLnICNbzieqAVi-_dav7k9CmVr94MRu7fZwUovU2Y-BcZlBwJM4dK9tCgMRk0Fz6TLojI/s1600/100_2749.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5497937885274273122" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfcMFJ-ryUKRgmGTkqyvnuNFhQpLqXnLgHArB9txycQ5qoPzy1LMjymWu8EPNiw94k1lG4BniLnICNbzieqAVi-_dav7k9CmVr94MRu7fZwUovU2Y-BcZlBwJM4dK9tCgMRk0Fz6TLojI/s200/100_2749.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Sydney really wasn't too excited about getting this close to the geese, but Mom insisted on having a picture made with them. Cody spent MUCH of his week here with his friends. He thought he might use Jeffrey as his "Chick Magnet", but then decided he didn't really need him. ;-) Once Sydney discovered the rec hall she had her daddy down there quite often. I know, I know, it did, but if you don't get to go you have to experience it somehow, and what better way then through us?! We had a wonderful time enjoying the scenery, the cool temps, and especially just being together as a family. He, (and Mom and Dad)are very excited!! He did a great job for his team, the Yankees, this season as pitcher, 1st and 3rd baseman, and even played catcher this year. During some of the games he pitched you could hear parents going, "Ow!" or "Wow!" when the ball would hit the catcher's glove, or the backboard if the catcher missed. Just glad I wasn't on the receiving end of that ball!! Here is the Olney Major League All-Star team for 2010:<br /><br /><div><div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5487131093116605874" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmrZiZH-Si5DXtY_kxq5O-9Gni96P4ssMpTlyUcO6dzW1xfLET_aQYjhOs0-zag3U1yIfH5RU0_IflMX1zBj2HNs46p8CrxUM93_x_5PxCXGQWpnt7vfw5GXywM_To35O-POEHwct46I4/s200/Picture_0006.JPG" border="0" /></div><br /><p>And here is some mighty fine pitching going on during a practice ga<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEga1bToUn0vXTzRNnsJfF7j5EzRWw-wAUjlpfTTFUShSjIJ_NTz53EwKLt-XUZ4nVpE4BN_pBmrr4gv3PAA_5sm-2qqcY6GB7syG3vH75fxLEe9xFbjbSyywRvZigHGaOxJzlpq4TP8bx8/s1600/Picture_0010.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5487132119602646434" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEga1bToUn0vXTzRNnsJfF7j5EzRWw-wAUjlpfTTFUShSjIJ_NTz53EwKLt-XUZ4nVpE4BN_pBmrr4gv3PAA_5sm-2qqcY6GB7syG3vH75fxLEe9xFbjbSyywRvZigHGaOxJzlpq4TP8bx8/s200/Picture_0010.JPG" border="0" /></a>me --<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAvuLKzNs42X1bcSsj7qr6fztYcRqRafirp74GczN7jiVLw0cWTNXOymp1J7ov4VGX2CS3e8ZUR1Ksk-NkpRgfm08pjXq9UKQryZ2UZWGASwlnfBRk5hmnlHOANeQJZeF_xia9w27xl2M/s1600/Picture_0009.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5487131944614523058" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAvuLKzNs42X1bcSsj7qr6fztYcRqRafirp74GczN7jiVLw0cWTNXOymp1J7ov4VGX2CS3e8ZUR1Ksk-NkpRgfm08pjXq9UKQryZ2UZWGASwlnfBRk5hmnlHOANeQJZeF_xia9w27xl2M/s200/Picture_0009.JPG" border="0" /></a></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>I do believe he struck this kid out, along with many others during this game...</p><p>So, if you find yourself with nothing to do next week, we start our all-star games on Monday, June 28 right here in Olney! 8:00 p.m. to be exact. There's nothing like spending an evening at Ranger's Stadium smelling popcorn, peanuts, and watching Ian Kinsler "play ball!" Jami and Joey planned this whole event, and they did a very good job! Have a FEW pictures below you will hopefully enjoy as much as we enjoyed making them.<br /><br /><br /><div><br /><div><br /><div>Three silly boys, ready for some baseball!</div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5480229778954515378" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixdVkXMvlz_qXxTwhkEtSozAPIZKIA9tTd2vCjmOQbvHAiiu1vhJDIkgrnTuL_nYJxkKZOIAyED-Q0fhKi7piDGbYFKbpFeVsN-5drRPCInNbzY8AS3UYy9iTz7-OdYa1eiiJqPd78npQ/s200/100_2548.JPG" border="0" /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJPTn67oMv3wQvsN5OdylkVuhyphenhyphenaD9WcKRvBq1juyxIPggjBJaGPawzkAPC9-JxdF2Ki4yGqw7WpSApoKYnEA4MqoDOIjeG6EmQP5ROp7TtvO803iWfzlYIp_6vHwxa0iKv4TLoUAlVlro/s1600/100_2549.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5480230022377504386" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJPTn67oMv3wQvsN5OdylkVuhyphenhyphenaD9WcKRvBq1juyxIPggjBJaGPawzkAPC9-JxdF2Ki4yGqw7WpSApoKYnEA4MqoDOIjeG6EmQP5ROp7TtvO803iWfzlYIp_6vHwxa0iKv4TLoUAlVlro/s200/100_2549.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Mom and Dad enjoying the game.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8ARinR3_eLRzh1Hv553x42P0G5Fq5XubvjC2VQIl-IZN1Bij6pE7i4jqGMq9mrlPiaKzNuzLG-4BwWdFb_SFTv-Iqi4QC2VHRP9QkYAahl2iVDxCynLBfCd2DzvDHxGnNL3sW6o4Fusc/s1600/100_2552.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5480229372012228322" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8ARinR3_eLRzh1Hv553x42P0G5Fq5XubvjC2VQIl-IZN1Bij6pE7i4jqGMq9mrlPiaKzNuzLG-4BwWdFb_SFTv-Iqi4QC2VHRP9QkYAahl2iVDxCynLBfCd2DzvDHxGnNL3sW6o4Fusc/s200/100_2552.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><br /><div><br />Some intense concentration!<br /><br /></div><br /><div><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkGoBD_ePsxFZny7bVAACx3Hg-d6RPc5l0E5nMgwWZdXPGJ0fgMc1zxVlhA0FsLKTfm2bDSCnOFCBkrqyxcS79KC73WlrT6fscM_wItDUIXCbyudW7iykC4CAansLfd_OE_aozPDux1i0/s1600/100_2566.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5480229600403427202" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkGoBD_ePsxFZny7bVAACx3Hg-d6RPc5l0E5nMgwWZdXPGJ0fgMc1zxVlhA0FsLKTfm2bDSCnOFCBkrqyxcS79KC73WlrT6fscM_wItDUIXCbyudW7iykC4CAansLfd_OE_aozPDux1i0/s200/100_2566.JPG" border="0" /></a>Jeff, Cody, and Jaxon - all smiles.<br /><br /><br /><br /></div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmOQdgptqykUZ79CxMI_tSLcLmOnwxA5FNf4gJg6cw4MuUnw9xaNV0HywGtX9uMn4urGpMZhmESU1eZUVAhELXx3DhW7l4pe0Vag4hwAvVwrUeSqZfGMlcldFNTfDEJdwxgaS8wbzduJc/s1600/100_2547.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5480229161176705010" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmOQdgptqykUZ79CxMI_tSLcLmOnwxA5FNf4gJg6cw4MuUnw9xaNV0HywGtX9uMn4urGpMZhmESU1eZUVAhELXx3DhW7l4pe0Vag4hwAvVwrUeSqZfGMlcldFNTfDEJdwxgaS8wbzduJc/s200/100_2547.JPG" border="0" /></a> Jaden always smiles when he goes to the Ranger's game!<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjBRVz27rAcoCP1oP_zuVdEbeAGC8u7DLwBzYDt5F_UGlFIHpqd8IwmD2-vas-nMUeyiXKWOe95-05rJhQ9nlXMWG8-OpMDkkjz-5sW_U9-l3rl3C19uQBm0PGABiCGHF_KZaJ-VlXhrs/s1600/100_2545.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5480228996616432002" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjBRVz27rAcoCP1oP_zuVdEbeAGC8u7DLwBzYDt5F_UGlFIHpqd8IwmD2-vas-nMUeyiXKWOe95-05rJhQ9nlXMWG8-OpMDkkjz-5sW_U9-l3rl3C19uQBm0PGABiCGHF_KZaJ-VlXhrs/s200/100_2545.JPG" border="0" /></a> Trading cards, but he wouldn't trade them to anyone!<br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfii1OX0e9_nE3von-4AQOv6oqu6s05VpJ7FUZIZehlWGZh0SvI3RjsM2uW4z6aZ8xUAIaL3mcWYP7cZL3mnUIlzThvkKlYcIjDZ65Yt7h2O2iFLVPUBuhqGUaNG_bm-9Loac_at-cIyc/s1600/100_2543.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5480228583887445266" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfii1OX0e9_nE3von-4AQOv6oqu6s05VpJ7FUZIZehlWGZh0SvI3RjsM2uW4z6aZ8xUAIaL3mcWYP7cZL3mnUIlzThvkKlYcIjDZ65Yt7h2O2iFLVPUBuhqGUaNG_bm-9Loac_at-cIyc/s200/100_2543.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Joey and Leslye. They played for 3 hours and were exhausted when we met back up with them. While they were there, Jami, Jason, Leslye, Joey, Jeff and I went to see the musical "Wicked." Oh, my gosh, it was fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was our birthday present from them, and it was more than wonderful! We even got a special invitation during intermission to go to the offices of the executive producer of the show's office for refreshments. Woohoo!! That was very interesting... Jeff and I decided it ranked right up there under "Hairspray." If you've never been to see a Broadway musical, whether on or off Broadway, you should make it a point to see at least one in your lifetime. Just loved it, loved it, LOVED IT! Did I mention how much I enjoyed the show? <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyFBhwBjh108vDanJMWEibRYvk5IIWXkBOwOrXhmZRXHWqzRtJHsBYeAyZi2j9v6Yzu5YJf3njtXjIGAqQmV4aeSq5_7uSv4O6kB8TfDNHDGZU3vR8e1H6JxdekM_uDDhZM-zkbGHHAWI/s1600/wicked+pic[1].jpg"></a><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizzkg77iiamySnGqv9f4tWU_O9IY5-uU5frQ3HrcHR_yp_YAeLDC4r9IjuNdN6utiV2S5Wo4SkkEY86H64cvkVqwwtqm01rdm2CDYrmzKF6_uAaNyQGpG17RdiOInsZHRXVPPQAnuOKSM/s1600/jeff+and+me+-+wicked+pic"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5480237885323731490" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 156px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizzkg77iiamySnGqv9f4tWU_O9IY5-uU5frQ3HrcHR_yp_YAeLDC4r9IjuNdN6utiV2S5Wo4SkkEY86H64cvkVqwwtqm01rdm2CDYrmzKF6_uAaNyQGpG17RdiOInsZHRXVPPQAnuOKSM/s200/jeff+and+me+-+wicked+pic" border="0" /></a><br /></div><br /><div></div><br /><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5480240604479863266" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 155px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRJEgnvkthX8iriWaKZ07k88JNTmkjMjxy-1kvMcDIU591AI5uUcpHKDcI6WxUqHGNQ_6Da73pChS1r5tobVggyZMPMvPY8he3FbyoDXwWZCzoyJcyfDRZz7rc62uEQQV0BWAybgwvx_4/s200/wicked+pic%5B1%5D.jpg" border="0" />Thank you guys for a very wonderful afternoon!! We are so very blessed to have so many family members and friends who help us keep this benefit going each and every year. Without the help of these people and our community here in Olney, this scholarship would not be nearly as successful as it is today.<br /><div></div><br /><br /><div>For those of you who don't know, Steven is our middle son, who will forever be 20 years old. He was killed in a car wreck on May 7, 2004 coming home from Muleshoe for Mother's Day weekend. We decided to honor his memory by offering a scholarship to graduating senior Olney baseball players. We have been so lucky to be able to continue this scholarship for the sixth year because of the generosity and support of our friends, family, and the great people who live in Olney and the surrounding areas. Baseball was one of Steven's many joys in life and something he excelled at. We have many wonderful and humorous memories of Steven and his buddies and their "exploits."<br /></div><br /><div><br /><div>Here are just a few pictures taken by Dad and myself of the people who helped, and who enjoyed a very good meal. <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhx_50-oKnSRNvqkmDHUbBqxl0c-oaGFZf7rOEQboSsW6Axwx0VmW5vNLbm9niBczH5vkCbM2jBgugBqQ12HopGbju7SkUQuvnZkmnTrK-A43vCgXXzoZjApLSp9PzLwr4SC34Oy1mrQbc/s1600/100_2280.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5462039184307685522" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhx_50-oKnSRNvqkmDHUbBqxl0c-oaGFZf7rOEQboSsW6Axwx0VmW5vNLbm9niBczH5vkCbM2jBgugBqQ12HopGbju7SkUQuvnZkmnTrK-A43vCgXXzoZjApLSp9PzLwr4SC34Oy1mrQbc/s200/100_2280.JPG" border="0" /></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBsl3SeQQKjw7oMuI-BIl1UBeKK0UrmxpKj-WQT2UtcHQKGE9MmKrGkugVtOrqK-LT1teYRPUUGHiJGSjrQWuzYn4_7a-FZb1-aDj1FsT6REZHg893flQe1MVKBz7AyQASs7F2jlIEaX8/s1600/100_2274.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5462040008601558546" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBsl3SeQQKjw7oMuI-BIl1UBeKK0UrmxpKj-WQT2UtcHQKGE9MmKrGkugVtOrqK-LT1teYRPUUGHiJGSjrQWuzYn4_7a-FZb1-aDj1FsT6REZHg893flQe1MVKBz7AyQASs7F2jlIEaX8/s200/100_2274.JPG" border="0" /></a></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><div><br /></div><br /><br /><br /><br /><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Not a bad price for such great food! But we know that they were all with us in spirit, and for that we are thankful!<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgT489zALiHkq-BruoyVReQuSWDSXTw4o3C6_1eedEtDXixSTy_cF_qmGpokjjxshU-ZBJpxNAKabBhM_jtP-TOZVnP_p4MmbvCgctCQOavAARZLQ-RUNX2KzUkWtaKobVJO2eCfpzJqn8/s1600/100_2268.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5462042776717228562" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgT489zALiHkq-BruoyVReQuSWDSXTw4o3C6_1eedEtDXixSTy_cF_qmGpokjjxshU-ZBJpxNAKabBhM_jtP-TOZVnP_p4MmbvCgctCQOavAARZLQ-RUNX2KzUkWtaKobVJO2eCfpzJqn8/s200/100_2268.JPG" border="0" /></a><br />Granny came with Mom and Dad, but she decided that she'd just stay home and spend her time with Jeffrey, trying to teach him how to crawl. Being able to help these great young men is what this is all about, and being able to do it in Steven's honor makes the tragedy of the past a little easier to bare. As I've heard many times in my life, God has a plan for all of us, even if it comes out of something tragic and ends up being something for the better. We will always have our memories, and now we are able to share a little bit of those memories with others, by supporting the young men we have come to love and admire.<br /></div><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div></div>Tamihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06460108066646847878noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5226330002618118019.post-11389041062238391452010-03-22T05:28:00.000-07:002010-03-22T05:30:10.600-07:00birthday<span style="color:#ff0000;">well 4 my b-day i got a drum set and some golf shoes for this year for tjga so yall should come down 2 watch me play some golf love you all</span><br /><br /><br /><span style="color:#cc0000;">Cody</span>Tamihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06460108066646847878noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5226330002618118019.post-60732756765415217202010-03-21T20:56:00.000-07:002010-03-22T04:21:45.013-07:00Happy, Happy, HAPPY Birthday!!Happy Birthday, Cody!!!!!!!!!!<br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5451302567198752034" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6U-r_yucp65aBYTYHkN47AAj8-PZY3Z_CPEJqLZpyrEiPxlCGKer7SBUKlsSLnE7UBSjjPe_04NnlpphUdRrO7FfD6fAoJfBrQ7lAYs0d65EzvQbatLYOIhnazeQihcNib-ocV5ITACQ/s200/100_2049.JPG" border="0" /><br /><p>"Seems like just yesterday..." Isn't that what all parents say when their baby has a birthday? Can't believe ours is turning 12 today!! I used to not understand what people meant when they said, "It goes by so quickly," until I had a child of my own, but now I understand all too well. We are so lucky to have been blessed with the awesome gift God gave us to be this little guy's parents. </p><p>Cody, your dad and I are so proud of you and your accomplishments! You are growing up so quickly and into such a fine, christian young man. We are so blessed to have you!! Always remember that we are there for you, along with the rest of your family, and your "angels" are watching over you from heaven. </p><p>Hope you have a great day!!! We love you so very, very much!!! Jeff, Cody and I enjoyed getting to spend some time out of town together during our break this past week. Then Cody and I got to spend some time with my family in the metroplex. Good thing for us Cody is, and always has been, a good traveler!!<br /><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div></div><br /><div>We left on Monday to go with Jeff to Austin for a conference. I believe the highlight of this trip was when we ate at Fogo de Chao on Monday night. WOW!! I heard someone say, "This place is a carnivore's dream and a vegetarian's nightmare!!" It's just one of those places you have to experience. They serve 15 different kinds of meats, all from spits that the waiters carry around the restaurant. You have this little card in front of you, and as long as it's on the green side you have guys standing over you with hunks of meat waiting to cut and serve you dinner. If it's on the red side they leave you alone and let you chew!! They also have the most fabulous salad bar I've ever eaten from with all those great cheeses you hear about on the Food Network. Tried them and liked them!!! Ask Cody what was his favorite cut of meat? I think he had 6 or 7 slices of leg of lamb. That was definitely not my favorite by any means, but I tried it. I felt safer with the chicken stuff. I know, not very adventurous, but everything did NOT "taste like chicken." Needless to say, when we left there we were all stuffed. We did however manage to work out for about 45 minutes later that night so we didn't feel so guilty. No telling how many points that meal was!!!!!!</div><div> </div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Tuesday Jeff and the other guys played golf in the rain (YUCK!!) while Cody and I went to the UT store and the capitol building. We did actually find a place to eat lunch downtown where we didn't have to pay to park!! It's crazy down there!</div><div></div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjidOOTzI5d0WEAxSQUo4zyVBwPx1tCkE286HgB2fzj7S9YlQTcJaHbWmfaYlfQJ1aN8-x9APdnkgXFmmc2CQX-yPZHkGaG5U0qxJWL1MxTLimexVJiwDqvCG32ipZ3fRKDd9OtfmCOgoA/s1600-h/100_2237.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5451203658462563810" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjidOOTzI5d0WEAxSQUo4zyVBwPx1tCkE286HgB2fzj7S9YlQTcJaHbWmfaYlfQJ1aN8-x9APdnkgXFmmc2CQX-yPZHkGaG5U0qxJWL1MxTLimexVJiwDqvCG32ipZ3fRKDd9OtfmCOgoA/s200/100_2237.JPG" border="0" /></a> Cody leaning on the canon outside the capitol's front door.</div><br /><br /><div></div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGHHg7qsH8VX2AlyJ16mjMYb4UcXzTp26SbnutI7JkucvdAXQfSQw_evQpoBw8n6UIM-mh7TIVLyaI88ZaO6rtezk32GSe7p7Z7gH3a-dCtuJyAXOAl_p_oIb01QVyPf3GtZXVqztY7UE/s1600-h/100_2241.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5451207240110082114" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiGHHg7qsH8VX2AlyJ16mjMYb4UcXzTp26SbnutI7JkucvdAXQfSQw_evQpoBw8n6UIM-mh7TIVLyaI88ZaO6rtezk32GSe7p7Z7gH3a-dCtuJyAXOAl_p_oIb01QVyPf3GtZXVqztY7UE/s200/100_2241.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeqc0x1ZPVYLafedB4axtYtTryvWHQD04meg8m8AgNVQ6TFIR9zy1s212gni6NnKtyIMYo0ooRyzIDOIYp4ALWUHhvdvt0Q1DXCvyG3VA_Qc8a-0ngRfB2VZ8AJfnpnnLQwK7VAsgZ2-0/s1600-h/100_2241.JPG"></a></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Cody standing behind the podium in the House of Representatives conference room. After saying quite a few little prayers to be sure we took the right exits, and watching the rolling of my child's eyes when I got flustered, we made it to the hotel to meet Aunt Jami, Jaden, Jaxon, Nana, and Pawpaw. The offer was that Nana and Pawpaw would watch the boys while Jami and I shopped until we dropped. So you can bet that no matter how tired we got, we took them up on the offer. "Not much of an accumulation. Just a light dusting on the grass, but no worries." He went a little too easy on the forcast before the "Christmas blizzard" and then again last week, but... Do they ever fire weatherman for being wrong too often? I guess not, but sometimes they are sure WAY OFF!!! But I'm not complaining because it certainly was beautiful snow with HUGE snowflakes, that fell non-stop for over 12 hours! We stayed in school all day Thursday, even when everyone else was letting their students go home, but hey, we were already there, so might as well use the teaching moments, right? We did wait until 10 a.m to start on Friday. I could definitley get used to that! <div><div> </div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI2uN7n6Cmb-BGsyeOFF9SVSGhHHMUcjR0TnLhh1H5BjhD_i-IUFstqUWAHbWCknnDp3F4chb1Lui_zwDQBj4ccK_8yPBQWhVapsMuJKNTaAg3mqUKcHEatJFMEZ8okyRxXTTHz02gPxM/s1600-h/100_2231.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5438580514198508194" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI2uN7n6Cmb-BGsyeOFF9SVSGhHHMUcjR0TnLhh1H5BjhD_i-IUFstqUWAHbWCknnDp3F4chb1Lui_zwDQBj4ccK_8yPBQWhVapsMuJKNTaAg3mqUKcHEatJFMEZ8okyRxXTTHz02gPxM/s200/100_2231.JPG" border="0" /></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNkJ_SxeoXbAVYiQNy7qQVL4JEvpgzkaZtAiGX30PcSoEcRCWpRZ4yRktpzd2TkVSLpJ3rSw2D5ozFFCMItnGzrukFM7nf_TYqG7Em3ae1BiR80YCYAwjirWtZyfhLVotqLVt2mDFjZns/s1600-h/100_2232.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5438580714165589570" style="FLOAT: right; MARGIN: 0px 0px 10px 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNkJ_SxeoXbAVYiQNy7qQVL4JEvpgzkaZtAiGX30PcSoEcRCWpRZ4yRktpzd2TkVSLpJ3rSw2D5ozFFCMItnGzrukFM7nf_TYqG7Em3ae1BiR80YCYAwjirWtZyfhLVotqLVt2mDFjZns/s200/100_2232.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div></div><br /><br /><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>This is a picture of our backyard on Friday morning. He didn't play out in the snow though this time, it was just way to cold and windy!! Anyway, guess next time they predict snow we'll know not to believe what they say! It melted quickly though, and in a few months we'll all be wishing we had some of this moisture around us. Just helps you remember what a great and powerful God we have and the miraculous things He can do. It's kinda like dusting - I know it needs to be done, but it just takes so much effort! Not really though, I guess I just need to get focused!<br /><div><div><div><div><br /><div>Anyway, like the title says, it's "Piggin' Time!" Some of you may be asking exactly w<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3PGYFvy26WGD9GVRtLtFIuhCKfoAa7ZIbZ8sq6YAgF2Z5LBUOj5lR29w2wprc2o7N7T8N3tzkSkUWq31qyKuUSvXy-9skrY61gaPxzeaQc8pQWLtNo7lVyCW6LL9sscGBtZZLGS402-Q/s1600-h/IMG_2736.JPG"></a>hat that means, so here's the info and a few pics to go along with it:</div><div></div><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWeio2HTklxRkEmAxTJk_POtpCTaGyBrYKfNGYvaWJhwKU56JqIWj_dNhA5EMJijxvWxsvkeyz7ob1j0eA2VJhqU53gsJSuWeUeXWdHkjdtD7x-VavMl_m-Ra-j9EJwvfuX98XnS0kwlM/s1600-h/IMG_2736.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432315472827369266" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgWeio2HTklxRkEmAxTJk_POtpCTaGyBrYKfNGYvaWJhwKU56JqIWj_dNhA5EMJijxvWxsvkeyz7ob1j0eA2VJhqU53gsJSuWeUeXWdHkjdtD7x-VavMl_m-Ra-j9EJwvfuX98XnS0kwlM/s200/IMG_2736.JPG" border="0" /></a> This is the time of year when Cody (and us) get down and dirty with the Young County Livestock Show. Yes, I did say "us." Although I never dreamed I'd do it, in the past 4 years since Cody has been showing pigs, I've cleaned pins, shoveled poop, "slopped the hogs", and yes, even petted the cute little creatures. Now you have to understand that our pigs are "barn spoiled" so they aren't your everyday, run-of-the-mill pigs. Our pigs don't roll in the mud, often, and they don't sleep outside. They are pampered and have nice soft woodshavings to sleep on, heat lamps to sleep under, and four walls to keep the wind away. So I don't mind so much getting in there and helping out. I've even been known to walk them occassionally. Now this is something Jeff has been doing for years because he did this with Justin and Steven when they were in school, and now he's "enjoying" the experience all over again. Aren't the just the cutest! (I'm talking about my boys, not the pigs!!)</div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5432322689418379618" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJ7N_sfRwmXDi5sDdm-6ToVcVr6eViVvX3UsL292YGdNAGcpIzB6AdwbjkFSqzcmSNrMWU757RPmQG00fvFVh5QUYLEMYxmZMUB6wa-CnO5FhrXfTAv_e87_Utod58Jt_4Yb-GuCSMCOs/s200/IMG_2741.JPG" border="0" /> Cody and Dad, sharing a moment.<br /><br /><div>Anyway, Cody had 2 pigs again this year, Shaker and Blue. Shaker missed making the weight for the county show by 3 pounds, so now she'll be "meat in the freezer. Blue made it in though, got a 6th place ribbon, and made it into the sale. We didn't really sell him though because we're taking him to Fort Worth next week for the BIG show. (They don't really sell their animals. The people bid on the kids to help them get back some of the money they spent on their animals. You'd just have to be there...) So hopefully next week Cody and Blue will put on a good show for the judge and he can make some more money for his college fund. We enjoyed having Nana and Pawpaw here for support, and someone to go shopping with (mostly me on that one!!) Mom and I actually spent more time in the car Saturday than we did shopping. WOW! Cody is so lucky to have you guys here and so are we. We did miss having Justin, Angela, Sydney, Jeffrey, Jami, Jaden, Jaxon, Joey and Leslye here though, and so did the pigs. They seem to do so much better when they have their fans here. Maybe next year...</div><div></div><div></div><div>So, if you find yourself with nothing to do next Friday...drive on up to Fort Worth, to the Will Rogers Stadium, and come watch a very handsome young man show-off his very clean and well-behaved pig. Once again, the first grade teachers had to wear our tiarras, since we are the "princesses" of the elementary school. So here we are, the "Bling Queens"...</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399729713590264754" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh61Y46vecxeNI5Seg01VjTts2ynp9xyUn77Ghc13qO1_4Xoh-l1237sWz1IBHb1W-oUJF8AkyAJZ2gBEHOn3X_CKx55dGdDZREN77RgKCeBkR6pCGncPCh4it3PLAQ_bbq0ZhM6c4kbiM/s200/100_2096.JPG" border="0" /></span><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000000;">Not only did we wear our tiarras, but we were glittery from head to toe, literally!</span><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5399730164023844338" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOmuPVUWM3n0iaSs6JVyLBN2cHfFzwImKu6uup3-LbGsMwvUjiBpq99bcA0uyadBus6ITuTkxK23eorkv-cQ38FLP_rkTVkn5tWjgXEyU7BkVxo1CFWlNoW0tYp1r2RLl5OL-ZpNCvgpE/s200/100_2097.JPG" border="0" /><span style="font-family:verdana;color:#000000;">We had glitter in our hair, on our eyelids, on our lips, on our faces, and on our clothes. We had glitter bows on our flip-flops. <span style="color:#000000;">We even painted our fingernails and toenails with glitter polish!</span> EVERYWHERE we went we left a trail of glitter. By the end of the day I told Jeff that I thought I had "glitter inhalation!" I think that was a little too much bling, even for me. Hopefully next year we can do a little less of the bling. (I decided that a little extra sleep was required for myself. :-) They were up at 7:00 a.m. and downtown to help set up the fire department's stuff to serve BBQ sandwiches as a fundraiser to all the hunter, and anyone else who was hungry. I believe they did quite well, and the money that was raised will go to buying toys for some of the children in Olney at Christmas.<br /><br />We were sitting down to eat and Jeff and I decided it was time for a road trip! So we came home, called Justin, found out they weren't busy and told him we'd be there by suppertime. We loaded the camper and pulled it behind us because we thought camping would be a great way to spend the weekend too (and our bed is much more comfortable than the blow-up mattress they have!) We also thought Sydney might enjoy camping with us. She wasn't, but that was ok too.<br /></div><div align="center"></div><div align="center"> </div><div align="left">Justin pulled up to the camper just after we got there, and things had to be put together quickly because the dove were flying and the sun was setting and there were shells that needed to be shot! He weighed 6 lbs. 2 oz, and was 19 inches long. I know I didn't post when he was born, or a week after, and believe me, I've heard all about that, but I figure better late than never, huh.) This time they actually got some birds!! :-)</div><div></div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfV7mfDZkfcXERsKu8x-C3Z_fVLhbIXF3ovIdKSUebZWqXbELpxSI-e57wR2VtQCSPVUKsuiRzBs3ja_f713BzpCTTrVz_Ow8KVJz_jmxpJ8FRKybgd0-EYwYf3LlVxslTe5PJYJFIgyM/s1600-h/100_2035.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5379681003799545906" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfV7mfDZkfcXERsKu8x-C3Z_fVLhbIXF3ovIdKSUebZWqXbELpxSI-e57wR2VtQCSPVUKsuiRzBs3ja_f713BzpCTTrVz_Ow8KVJz_jmxpJ8FRKybgd0-EYwYf3LlVxslTe5PJYJFIgyM/s200/100_2035.JPG" border="0" /></a><br /></div><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjiGQPCRXI22W2QgXW2KZ6aO1QLFvMVG-Nq9Qxa2mER19BP5f9IJaiiOeXfN6I8J_2lH3OoH1LyWvdFQLAHIJvBfmdNnDbyQ2eyF7GvJFrZXbOUfFOe4V2ezFxyFWfZ0aiQQsvjhMG70U/s1600-h/100_2022.JPG"></a><br /><br /></div><br /><br /><div align="left"><br /><br />He loves his big sister!<br /></div><div>We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and got to spend it with the people you love. <br /><div>Jr. High - ALREADY?!?!?!?! </div>
<br /><div> </div>
<br /><div>Well, I seem to have made it through Cody's first day of jr. high a little better than Jami made it through Jaden's first day of kindergarten, but it was still tough. I couldn't wait for school to be out so I could see my baby! (He won't like that, but oh well...) When he rounded the corner after school my heart leaped a little just seeing his smiling face. </div>
<br /><div> </div>
<br /><div>For those of you who haven't seen Cody in a while he's almost as tall as I am! He was so excited about starting school today, and I just hope that excitement keeps up for the rest of the year...I hope it keeps up for the next 7 years!! He walked up and said, "Mom, I had an awesome day!!" I was very relieved, but I knew he would.</div>
<br /><div> </div>
<br /><div>It's going to be hard not seeing him everyday, a few times a day, walking around in our halls or popping into my room for something, but growing up is a good thing. I know that Jeff and I have taught him well and have loved him so much that he's popping at the seams, as a lot of you in his life have also done. I also know he has a few very special "guardian angels" watching over him when we're not around. And...I also have my "spies" from church, or former babysitters who are teaching at the jr. high who have promised to keep an eye out for him too. Thanks Amanda for being his other mom!! </div>
<br /><div> </div>
<br /><div>So, even though I have cried a lot the past week, I know that he's going to do really well and do great things in his life! Now...how do you think I'll be next year when he starts playing football??? Let's not even go there yet....... </div></div>Tamihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06460108066646847878noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5226330002618118019.post-22834173676857786702009-07-23T17:56:00.001-07:002009-07-23T18:08:35.108-07:00<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN9b9Ua9LRRphWioB-fcJJYMV2eKNmel6eRbCARjJZ8DrjwaONXjgu6PvvW9bFu0ILgeJLk0PcN4T572BqDSiM4ieWOS16RGu1RWhhyQQ9ynLyv9RrG3OcI3gE1dbEYJOU2n8u8wm4dec/s1600-h/Cody"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5361825763794525026" style="FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgN9b9Ua9LRRphWioB-fcJJYMV2eKNmel6eRbCARjJZ8DrjwaONXjgu6PvvW9bFu0ILgeJLk0PcN4T572BqDSiM4ieWOS16RGu1RWhhyQQ9ynLyv9RrG3OcI3gE1dbEYJOU2n8u8wm4dec/s200/Cody's+Baseball+2009+089.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><br /><br /><div>All Stars...All over!!</div><div> </div><div> </div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>Baseball season is FINALLY over, not that we were ready or anything. It's pretty much consumed our whole summer, but that's ok too. Cody made it on the all star team again, and after a lengthy discussion about the fact that it might go into our "Colorado time," he decided he'd rather play baseball than go to the mountains, so we did. They played a few tournaments and did really well. One Saturday these poor boys played 5 games, in 105 degree weather, and still managed to only lose the campionship by one run in the last inning. (Thanks Mom, Dad, and Granny for being here to support him!! You were lifesavers!!) </div><div></div><div>They did well during the all star run too. They won, then lost, then won again, then finally lost and we were done. (Thanks Uncle Joey for driving from Sville to watch him play, along with Nana and Pawpaw.) He had fun, but he's glad it's over, and we made it to Colorado after all, but I'll fill you in on that later.</div><div></div><div>Whew! What a whirlwind!</div></div>Tamihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06460108066646847878noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5226330002618118019.post-59906340243740521762009-06-22T12:30:00.000-07:002009-06-22T13:07:40.239-07:00What a weekend!<div><div><div><div><div>I do believe a good time was had by all! We enjoyed spending last weekend in Arlington with my family. We may have been on vacation, but I don't think there was a lot of relaxing going on because we were too busy having fun.<br /><div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5350238647333971618" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 200px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 150px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBqLHk2Pk95FLVVXObQWYtidvpLoS_vaCxbdZRq4I5UlmqAAjh_8n6p4YQX9Kqg2db68dhCgC9ARphmvk4b-41Uv1onrYXyDuDhuPOT9ctl1tgq5lh_OkF_9WjE5zy6189StnlWEh9Ywg/s200/100_1973.JPG" border="0" /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfV_AfIaj_3-VgajG4tNuA9T5azkzc6g0J871rsgMHysmf3DjZft1NH2ERsIyHkbnNcijPU75jGtRKohGJxie6EjKNjKfr_aIhX8gxkKP9t-hggBLjKburLTOXhhSh2zvrcOwh_x1_Tzo/s1600-h/100_1970.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5350238234570706658" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 150px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 200px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfV_AfIaj_3-VgajG4tNuA9T5azkzc6g0J871rsgMHysmf3DjZft1NH2ERsIyHkbnNcijPU75jGtRKohGJxie6EjKNjKfr_aIhX8gxkKP9t-hggBLjKburLTOXhhSh2zvrcOwh_x1_Tzo/s200/100_1970.JPG" border="0" /></a> Here's Jami Dawn.
